SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
RECIPIENT TESTIMONIALS

Combat ministries has been wonderful for our family. We began going to church last year and wanted to find an activity for our children to participate in that was faith based. We choose combat ministries after a tour of their venue and nformational meeting about their programs. Our sons, ages 13 and 14, both struggle with social anxiety and self confidence. We have tried other sports and couldn’t find the right fit. After one class of Boxing at the Center, both of our boys begged us to sign up. They have a new found confidence and are thriving. I love the fact that they have other role models, besides us as their parents. to help guide them in the right direction as they continue to grow during the hard teenage years. It has given our oldest an outlet for all his anger, that is healthy instead of lashing out at everyone. My daughter is disabled and recently began Chiropractic services through the Center as well, we have noticed big changes in her as well. We couldn’t ask for a better place or better people to help our children develop and grow into wholesome people.

The Combat Ministries’ Freedom Martial Arts and Scholarship program has been something that my son, 4 years old, has been able to take pride in and look forward to. Like all things at this young age, it takes a while to get them out the door for things. But it didn’t take long at all before he got so happy to see the Gi uniform top I draw on the calendar days for him to look forward to. He says that he wants more karate days on the Calendar. I’m personally so happy that he gets this young start for something that can be so foundational for his growth into a young man. This is an activity that he really enjoys learning new things for, so he can advance. We tried T-ball once and it was a total bust. The opportunity to receive the blessing of these classes through the full scholarship has been amazing because I am not in a situation where he would be able to attend without it. I am a single mom who technically has two dependents because I also support his dad who has been trying to better his life through drug addiction rehab so I really appreciate FMA’s financial help. Before my son was old enough to attend, I was able to take part in the program through scholarship as well for a short time. And a couple years before I had my son (when I had a good job) I used to attend classes with my mom and loved it so much! I just know how beneficial it is to be involved in healthy activities in your life and I love that my son loves it too. He has already learned so much like what perseverance means and how to lose, knowing that it just means you have the opportunity to keep practicing and work harder.

My child has been go to combat ministry for 5 years now. They are a wonderful group and family to be a part of. They try to lead the kids and adults with faith base leadership. They give their all to each student.  This is a great place for youth to be a part of.

VOLUNTEER INCENTIVE PROGRAM

There are two ways to help lower program costs. The first is the Scholarship Program. The second is the Volunteer Incentive Program or VIP. This program is designed to offset the costs that the Scholarship Program may not cover.  VIP runs on volunteer hours, but unlike our traditional volunteer program, VIP persons get VIP coins that become credits on their account, reducing the over all cost.

Below are a list of Volunteer Positions that apply to the VIP program.  Click on any tile to learn more about that position.

If you are interested in becoming a VIP, please fill our the Volunteer Application below and a representative with contact you once we have received the application.

Once again, if you have any questions please call or text us at 765-487-5211.
